Newt is an absolutely gorgeous boy sired by FC-AFC River
Oaks Way-Da-Go Rocky.  Newt is as friendly as he is big (82
lbs).  He is running master and qualifying level triples with
retired guns.   Newt is a very good marking dog and loves to
learn new things.   He is still a pup at heart and is often
kicking around a ball while in the airing yard.  Newt will be
running for his Senior and Master titles in 2010 and perhaps
Qualified All Age.  Newt is standing at stud, he is chocolate
factored.  Visit his owners website above for more
information.

"DASH" arrived at Blacktail in March
2008.  Previously he had earned a
derby Jam and 3rd in limited trialing.
Dash is an exceptional marking dog
and runs his blinds as fast as his
marks.  He is a pleasant dog to be
around and has a very bright future in
field trials and hunt tests. In 8
qualifyings, Dash has 2 Jams, 1 RJ, a
FIRST a THIRD and a FOURTH!! That's
a 75% finish rate - WOW.  Dash earned
his MASTER HUNTER title June 4,
2009.  Dash and Jared earned a 3rd in
the Amateur in Sept. 2009.

Jag is always on the go.  A young dog,
he is by far one of the most FOCUSED
dogs I've been around.  Like his sire
DASH (above), Jag is an excellent
marker and lives to retrieve.  He ran a
few derbies in 2009 and earned a jam,
Reserve Jam and THIRD place.  He is
back in training in 2010 working
towards his Master Hunter and
Qualified All Age titles.

Dunkin is such a fun dog.  He tries so hard to do
the right Dunking is finishing up his short derby
career winter of 2010 and will be running
Qualifying in the spring.  Dunkin is a great marking
dog, has a lot of focus and is very mature for his
age.  I expect him to do well at all age concepts.
Dunkin is a very big boy weighing over 80 labs at
under a year old, he is a very beautiful dog.
Dunkin has a derby 2nd and 2 jams in 5 trials.

Ross is probably the fastest, most energetic dog I have ever been
around.  He literally can GO ALL DAY and he has.  Owner Bob
Farrell spent many days in Canada retrieving hundreds of geese
with Ross and reports he's never seen him tired.

Ross is an excellent marking dog and loves to retrieve more than
anything. He is a handful no doubt.  He has no bottom that I can find
and the kind of dog you want at the end of the long weekend.  He is
just now starting to learn to handle and run cold blinds.  He is on the
pattern field and will add marks soon.  He is doing difficult land
derby doubles and simple triples.  He hits the water hard and keeps
on going.

Ross will be running Derby this spring and summer and possibly
Senior or Master if we can keep his desire in check.

Scooter is absolutely the cutest youngster on the truck.  He is a
very gentle soul for a young pup and a little bit sensitive.  He is
through CC and we are working on finishing up FF.  He is doing
some very nice doubles and seems to be a very good marker so
far.  He is a joy to have around and is rarely any trouble.  A quiet
pup just waiting to make his entrance.

Wow, to say this dog is a handful is an understatement.  The first month, Cowboy and I
just worked to understand that I am suppose to be the trainer and HE is suppose to be
the student. LOL.  We are now finished with FTP and starting the T, walking baseball,
wagon wheel, pattern blinds and more.  For marks he is doing simple singles off
multiples on land and water.  He loves the water and hits it hard.  Cowboy is a very
handsome, big dog with a pedigree to match. Looking to have Cowboy running Senior
and possibly derby this spring and early summer.   You can see more information about
Cowboy on his website listed above.
