2012 WINTER TRIP DETAILS
Leaving for California on or about January 16th. We are able to pick up dogs as we pass through Montana, Idaho, Utah, and
Nevada. It is up to the client to make arrangements to get their dog to Blacktail Labs.
We plan to arrive and start training in California on or about January 19th. Get 2 weeks FREE training as we will start billing
February 1st. Monthly fees are $550 a month, but sign up for a 3 month contract and get a special of $500 a month. We
return to Montana the first week of May.
A one time trip fee of $175.00 is required and due at drop off. The trip fee pays for travel expenses and membership/lease to
training property.
I will be running several AKC field trials and hunt tests. Events are run dependant on the dogs needs and wants. Handling
fees vary from $30 to $100 depending on the stake run and dog performance. We charge based on OUR SUCCESS! We
train everyday that we aren’t running field trials or hunt tests. We do not intend to run events every weekend. A schedule of
events is listed on this website. The schedule is a list of POTENTIAL events.
We welcome and encourage all interested to day train as often as you would like. We continue to not charge a day fee,
however, you may be asked to work throwing birds, shuffling dogs, etc.. When appropriate, clients can run dogs off the truck
to learn or sharpen handling skills. Clients always run their own dogs when day training.
We have 1 spot for a puppy. Puppy raising is $250 a month.
We require a $250.00 (non-refundable) deposit to reserve a slot on the truck. Slots are reserved on a first come basis with
preference given to dogs with at least a 3 month contract. Under certain circumstances if you are unable to fill your reserved
slot your deposit may be returned.
